Spoiler season is here!
Wilds of Eldraine seems to be a very interesting set, revisiting some of the much loved fairytale tropes we saw in Throne of Eldraine back in 2019.
There does however, seem to be a disturbing lack of playable goblins in the set. Granted our first visit to Eldraine only gave us Grumgully, the Generous - which at best only saw fringe play in eternal formats - he was much better than our options this time round
Picnic Ruiner and Redcap Gutter-Dweller do nothing to inspire any sense of hope within me and I predict they will not see any play in formats beyond limited and standard.
I supposed we have been spoiled by recent cards and maybe goblins just aren't in need of extra support at the moment. Maybe we should be grateful for what we have.
But the full set has not been revealed yet so maybe, just maybe, Wizards will give us a critter to get excited about.
